About Ryan Gerberding
I was born in Sacramento, CA and raised in the suburb of Rocklin, CA. I performed in school plays throughout elementary, middle, and high school. I graduated from University of California, Davis with a major in Theatre and Dance. I am also a founding company member at Placer Repertory Theater.
In college, I performed in many plays and musicals for the Theatre department and Studio 301, an undergraduate-run theatre club on campus. Between on-campus performances, I also performed in several musicals in local community theaters. I was also on the board of Studio 301 (Publicity Coordinator) and directed three shows for the club: The Pillowman by Martin McDonagh, Swimmers by Rachel Bonds, and Dogfight the musical. With Placer Repertory Theater, I have directed and performed in several staged readings and a web series, served as Digital Media Director, and co-wrote/performed in a solo show, “My Jekyll and Hyde.”
I moved to New York City in April of 2022 and have been furthering my acting career with several plays and short films.
